Fake It Until You Make It
White lies? Jeremy Greene shows that sometimes success is scandalous...
"I'm not broken. I'm not gonna let this break me, ever." - Jeremy Greene
A Turbulent Childhood πΆπ₯Ί
Jeremy Greene grew up in a fatherless household with a mother who was battling her own life riddled with addiction. Jeremy would often come home to an empty house with no food and would have to call a selection of local bars to see if he could reach his mother. It was understandably a rough upbringing, but it forced him to find creative and scrappy solutions to his problems that would prove instrumental in his future successes.

Free Long Distance Calls βοΈ
With an essentially parentless household, Jeremy felt a strong desire to find his father and try to foster a relationship with him. The only problem was that his father was pursuing a music career long distance, and the cost to call long distance was astronomical. Jeremy found a way to bypass paying AT&T for long distance calls and began the search. Would he reach his father or did AT&T catch him red handed?
Hacking MySpace π€―
Weβve all dreamed of social media fame (at least I have) and for those of us not lucky enough to have found the secret to riding the algorithms, we have to grow slowly and organically. Jeremy decided a great path to success would be to produce music. In some way perhaps this would prove to be a way to connect with his father. In an effort to promote his music, Jeremy found a way to hack his songs to the top of the charts and grow exponentially - seemingly overnight. MySpace caught on to his tricks and instead of banning him or pursuing legal action, they invited him to meet and it contributed to a huge jump in his success.
The Next Chapter

So what next? Naturally after a budding music career the obvious progression is πTECH π. A multi-facetted man, Jeremy Greene created a custom avatar creator geared for streaming platforms and social media!

"I remember going to watch The Social Network with my best friend and I just got so inspired. I looked at him and was like, 'Yo dude, we gotta build something! Like let's build a website or anything!' " - Jeremy Greene
